More Information

Welcome from Rev. Nicholas M. Allen

Dear friends in Christ,

Welcome to the parish website for Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Saint Rose is a vibrant Catholic parish with over 2,000 registered families and a great preschool and school, thus serving the spiritual growth of people of all ages. Our purpose is to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and to proclaim his love to the world.

We hope that this website serves as a valuable resource for you to inform you of the many wonderful aspects of our life of faith here at Saint Rose. Please take some time to explore the many great things that we do at this church and ask the Lord to guide you in how you can be more involved in serving him by serving one another. We pray that the Lord bless you and those that you love and that He grant you peace in this life and eternal happiness in the life to come.

What We Do as Catholics

The Preface Dialog

03-18-2018Fr. Joe Fessenden

Now that the priest has invited everyone to stand and pray, he begins the Eucharistic Prayer. The Eucharistic Prayer begins with the “Preface Dialog.” We say this at every Mass, but we sometimes don’t realize that this is actually the beginning of the Eucharistic Prayer, not when the congregation kneels after the Sanctus.

Weekend Backpack Foodbag Ministry

We are deeply grateful to have the support of our Saint Rose family as we fill Weekend Backpack Bags. Seven additional students from food-insufficient homes enrolled in Kittrell Elementary School over the Christmas Holidays.
